ABSTRACT
The conclusion that NA molecules can exist in the liquid-crystalline state under model conditions and, depending on the properties of the solvent and NA molecules, the peculiarities of this state can vary signi„cantly, allows questioning of the probability of the existence of the liquid-crystalline state of DNA molecules in a living cell.
