ABSTRACT

The different parts of the vertebrate body are organized to fit together and function effectively as a unit. There are several levels of organization that function harmoniously with each other for the survival of vertebrates. Starting from the lowest to the highest levels are chemical, organelle, cellular, tissue, organ and system levels of organization. Chemical level. This is the level at which organization of the vertebrate body begins. More than 100 atoms combine to form molecules that will in turn combine to form even larger molecules known as macromolecules. All these structures have unique relationships and form a semi-fluid material known as cytoplasm. The cytoplasm of different vertebrate cells has its unique characteristics that are related to its functions.
