ABSTRACT
The visual sense is the most sophisticated, most advanced sensory channel connecting the real world to human consciousness. Its online analysis capabilities are enormous, and its reliability is proverbial. “Seeing is believing:” we are accustomed to unconditionally accept as objective reality what our visual system judges to be real.
