ABSTRACT
Considering cosine and Chebyshev interpolation, we describe a new, close re lationship between these interpolation schemes, fast DCT-algorithms, inter polating wavelets and hierarchical bases. Related results concerning complex trigonometric interpolation can be found in [1, 4].
