ABSTRACT
The scope of the structure of an enterprise (which EA can describe) includes those main enterprise components such as enterprise goals and objectives, organizational structures, business processes, and information infrastructures. As the information infrastructure is within the scope of EA, the term “enterprise” as used in EA generally relates to the information architecture in an industrial organization. EA is highly relevant to industrial information integration, as industrial information integration concerns itself with the information flow within the entire industrial organization.
