ABSTRACT

When someone starts using a product for the first time, the user has many ways to learn how to use the product. It was developed a new method to help the user learn how to use a product. This method uses an augmented reality serious game to guide the user during the first interaction. Six metrics were evaluated, being compared the results from learning by using the augmented reality application and learning by using three other methods: direct manipulation, reading of the instructions manual and watching of the instructional video.
