ABSTRACT
Each of the integrative chapters reviewed specifi c recommendations for recruitment strategies, changes in policies, and suggestions for future research in secondary, post-secondary, and IT career fi elds. The following summary recommendations are drawn from the chapters and are organized by target populations that must be reached for the broader cultural and environmental changes that are needed, including public perceptions and misconceptions of IT, with the aim of opening the IT career fi eld to more females.
