ABSTRACT

To a left-brainer, fl owcharts are pretty much a no-brainer. You start at the beginning, chart out all of the possible paths in a logical and methodical way, and end up at the end. No big deal. To any self-respecting creative type, the mere mention of the word “fl owchart” could be enough to make them consider switching professions. But, since we’ve already established, with the assistance of Dave Grossman , that a good designer needs a healthy dose of both right-brain and left-brain features, fl owcharting is something you should expect to be a big part of your game-design career.
