ABSTRACT

ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY OF EJACULATION Ejaculation is the process of allowing transport of sperm through the urethra and expulsion of semen from the urethral meatus. The organs involved in the ejaculatory process are the epididymis, vas deferens, prostate, seminal vesicles, bladder neck, external urethral sphincter, and bulbourethral glands (1). In normal ejaculation, anatomic structures are precisely coordinated via neural centers to allow normal ejaculation to take place.
