Microbubbles are tiny bubbles (diameter 1-999 µm) that consist of a gas core surrounded by a shell. Nanobubbles are even smaller (diameter 1-999 nm). Many different types of microbubbles and nanobubbles are currently available and others are in advanced stages of development.
