ABSTRACT
In recent years, copulas have been generalised in various ways in answering different requirements. Far from being just an academic exercise these generalisations have proved to be necessary in a variety of fields going, for instance, from survival analysis to fuzzy set theory; moreover, they have highlighted properties of copulas that are of a different nature (probabilistic, algebraic, analytical, geometrical, etc.).
