ABSTRACT
Agents and multiagent systems, inspired by the field of artificial intelligence, have demonstrated their effectiveness in solving complex problems in various fields. We assumed to use them to manage operations in a well-organized and coherent way. Specialized agents will be integrated into a network in order to control certain parameters and solve specific problems in terms of security, confidentiality, and data integrity. In this chapter we present the different types of agents and their properties depending on the nature of the environment. We detail the communication, the cooperation, and the architectures of agents.
