ABSTRACT
8.1 Introduction
Automotive sealants are a rapidly growing market for urethane sealants. This chapter discusses their technology. Much of this can be found in the patent literature. Windshield sealants being the largest market in the automotive field, adhesion to glass is crucial. Hence, organo silane coupling agents are discussed in this chapter. However, much of what is discussed in that topic is also applicable to other types of urethane sealants.
