ABSTRACT
Total laparoscopic hysterectomy (TLH) and laparoscopyassisted vaginal hysterectomy (LAVH) are the two basic surgical approaches. Data indicate signiicantly more pelvic lymph nodes removed, smaller changes in post-operative blood counts, lower pain medication requirements, shorter hospital stay, earlier return to full activity and work and a higher level of satisfaction with their treatment.
