ABSTRACT

Prior to conducting an audit, an agenda must be prepared, listing the areas to be evaluated and specific testing to be observed. Results of previous audits should be reviewed to determine if follow-up to previous concerns is necessary. The laboratory is then contacted and the agenda is reviewed by the auditor and client. This initial preparation will ensure that time and personnel are available when the actual audit takes place.
