ABSTRACT
This dog (4a) had pituitaryinduced hyperadrenocorticism (PDH) and the characteristic inflammatory form of calcinosis cutis. Note the mineralization in the close-up view of the axilla (4b). Despite the inflammation, glucocorticoid drugs should not be used because these drugs will only worsen the condition.
