ABSTRACT
One of the main roles of Th cells is to provide help to B lymphocytes in order that they may become fully activated to transform into plasma cells for the production of antibody. This chapter considers the development and maturation of B cells, diversity in the BCR and the effector and memory functions of this lymphoid subset.
