ABSTRACT
Chapter 8 covered simulation analysis of instantaneous availability fluctuation parameters under truncated and discrete Weibull distribution and outlined some rules. Based on these rules, the particle swarm optimization is used to optimally design the common parameters for instantaneous availability fluctuation in three phases-demonstration, development, and operation.
