ABSTRACT

According to the latest statistics produced by the Brazilian Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Biofuels Agency (ANP), Brazil is endowed with an extensive network of over 38,890 fi lling stations nationwide. The Eco-Labelling of Petrol Stations program reported in this chapter is an ongoing action conducted in the Brazilian state of Rio Grande do Norte, addressing approximately 557 fi lling stations. This chapter, however only focuses on the city of Natal (state capital) where there are exactly 110 petrol fi lling stations, which are already engaged in the program (Dias 2012).
