Case 23. A Hypercholesterolemic Patient With Hypothyroidism And Something Else

Case report A 42-year-old woman consulted her primary care physician because of the recent finding of a plasma total cholesterol value of 320 mg/dl and triglycerides of 63 mg/dl. She was asymptomatic and presented no symptoms of hypothyroidism; her menstrual cycles were regular. She was normotensive, had never smoked, did not drink alcohol, and was not diabetic.
