ABSTRACT

A 52-year-old postmenopausal woman presented with new-onset skin rash on her elbows of 4 weeks duration. One year before presentation, she was found to have mild hypertension and was started on hydrochlorothiazide. Her blood pressure was well controlled on her current dose. She had recently noted occasional mild upper abdominal discomfort, but was otherwise well. She noted vast improvement of hot flashes after starting low-dose estrogen therapy about 3 months ago. She denied any other complaints.
