ABSTRACT
Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is a patho-physiological condition where the pumping effi ciency of the heart is decreased and the supply of blood to the body is reduced. It is a common pathological condition: CHF patients are 1-3% of the total population and 10% of elderly patients and the number of patients with CHF is increasing, also because of the growing number of elderly people.
