ABSTRACT

Biodamaging (biological damaging) represents any change (distortion) of structural and functional characteristics of an object induced by a biological factor [1, 2]. By biological factor organisms or their associations are meant, the influence of which on a technical facility disturbs its operational order. Microorganisms (microscopic fungi, bacteria, and yeast [2 - 4]) are most aggressive to materials and articles. Being the components of the environment and due to specificity of their vital activity, biodestructors are capable of rapid adaptation to various materials and continuously alternating conditions. Practically all materials used in technical articles are subject to the damaging effect of microorganisms which is the microbiological damage [2, 4].
