ABSTRACT
Until this point we have been focusing on the material response in the time domain. However, in many cases it is more convenient to work in the frequency domain since we often describe monochromatic waves, or a sum of monochromatic waves, or reduce problems such that we can apply a description using monochromatic waves, or a sum of monochromatic waves.
