ABSTRACT
From low-molecular-weight (LMW) compounds, high-molecular-weight polymers (macromolecules) to crosslinked elastomers, the interaction among photoresponsive mesogens in systems gradually increases. In addition, the stability, movability, and photoresponse in the three systems are far different as shown in Fig. 6.1.
