ABSTRACT
From the Latin instrumentum, an instrument is an implement or tool used for precision work whereby something is achieved, performed or furthered. To achieve the benefits of endoscopic surgery such as less postoperative pain, shorter hospital stays, quicker return to normal activities, and superior cosmetic results, the endoscopic surgeon needs the appropriate tools. The need for elegant and precise instrument is particularly important in pediatric operations.
