ABSTRACT
Implementing parameter design In Sections 6.2 and 7.3, we demonstrated the procedures of parameter design. This chapter discusses the implementation of parameter design in greater detail, introducing matters requiring attention in the planning stage and how to select suitable quality characteristics, noise factors, and control factors when implementing a Taguchi experiment as a project. This chapter also compares the differences between the Taguchi methods and the classical experimental design toward further awareness and understanding of the Taguchi methods.
