ABSTRACT
There has been an innumerable quantity of mechanisms invented over the centuries to obtain different trajectories of motion. Automatic machinery, looms, sewing machines, and other industrial equipment provide the designer with many interesting ideas in this eld. Here we conne ourselves to the demonstration of some more basic principles of design in addition to those demonstrated in the preceding chapters.
