ABSTRACT
In Chapters 3 and 5 we used as our base text the Gospel of Mark and, assuming Markan priority, analysed the binary time series that represented Matthew’s and Luke’s verbal agreements with Mark, especially with a view to investigating whether Matthew and Luke were independent in their use of Mark, as is supposed in the two-source hypothesis (see Figure 1.2).
