ABSTRACT
Between January 2010 and May 2011, the former Comisión de Estudios para el Desarrollo de la Cuenca del río Guayas – CEDEGE, and the current Secretaría Nacional del Agua – SENAGUA, contracted the studies for the inter-basin Project “Trasvase Daule-Vinces” (DAUVIN) to be carried out by the Association of Consulting Companies ACOTECNIC-Consultoría Técnica. The project area is spread over 215,000 ha in the Pacific littoral region of Ecuador, specifically in the Daule andVinces River basins which are part of the Guayas River in the Guayas and Los Rios provinces.
