ABSTRACT
The police picked up a 28-year-old dishevelled and unkempt man on a cold winter night. He claimed that he was a psychiatrist SHO at your hospital. The police believe that he was deluded and a danger to himself as well as the public. He is brought to your hospital under Section 136 of the Mental Health Act 1983. On his arrival he threatened to leave the accident and emergency department.
