L labelled compound (nmed) A compound in which
one or more of the molecules is replaced by a radioactive isotope (75Se-seleno-methionine) or a radiopharmaceutical to which a radionuclide is attached (99 mTc-DTPA). The radiolabel must not change the chemical nature or geometry of the original compound and so alter its original physiological property.
