Cerebrospinal fluid and the blood–brain barrier

Cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) is produced by the choroid plexus of the lateral, third and fourth ventricles. It flows from the lateral ventricles to the third ventricle, and then via the cerebral aqueduct into the fourth ventricle.
