What is aseptic technique? What do you understand by the term ‘laminar flow’? Describe how you would ‘scrub up’. What antiseptics are commonly used to scrub up? Describe clothing used in theatre to minimize infection risk to both surgeon and patient. What patient factors can be involved in reducing risk of postoperative infection?
