ABSTRACT
Headache is the most common neurological problem. This is clearly correct in general practice, while headache dwarfs other out-patient problems for consultant neurologists. In the UK it is estimated by the Association of British Neurologists that 20% of referrals in out-patients are for headaches, with epilepsy next at 12%.
