ABSTRACT
This technique is conceptually similar to X-ray crystallography and requires the growth of a protein crystal. Neutrons are scattered by atomic nuclei, meaning that hydrogen atoms can be detected. The method has not been widely used and is limited by the requirement for a neutron reactor and large protein crystals.
