ABSTRACT
Law and ethics are distinguishable but interact in many ways. What is legal may still be unethical because law provides the outside limits to unethical behaviour, but is not good at ensuring and encouraging the finer points of ethics in everyday practice. The aim of this chapter is to demonstrate the interface between law and ethics illustrated by some important and relevant cases.
