ABSTRACT
Patients with ambiguous genitalia mostly present in the
newborn period and require a multidisciplinary team,
including a pediatric surgeon/urologist, to assign the sex of
rearing as soon as possible after a thorough genetic,
anatomic, functional, and socioeconomic workup.
