Bladder exstrophy: considerations and management of the newborn patient

In this chapter, the techniques for managing the newborn

with classical bladder exstrophy are discussed based on the

authors’ experience and data derived from more than 940

patients with bladder exstrophy, epispadias, and cloacal

exstrophy from an institutional approved database at the

authors’ institution.
