ABSTRACT

Dynamics has been a part of NMR almost from the beginning. Exchange effects were discovered1 at about the same time (and in the same laboratory) as the phenomenon of scalar (or J) coupling. Thus, part of the thesis of this chapter is that dynamics should almost always be considered, and the examples provided will support this notion.
