ABSTRACT

Investigation of the surface properties of materials and energy characteristics of adsorption of atoms and molecules of different substances is an urgent problem both in terms of fundamental representations of changes in the surface properties of crystals [453] and applied aspects in terms of modifying the properties materials by spraying coatings with the necessary properties [364, 437, 457]. In particular, adsorbates of the alkali metals are used for electrodes with a low effective work function and implementation of heterogeneous catalysis with improved activity and selectivity of catalysts [364, 437]. Thin films of cobalt and iron are widely used in magnetoelectronics [432, 457].
