ABSTRACT

The properties of ultrathin magnetic films are the subject of intense research [498], which is largely determined by the potential applications in microelectronics and computer technology of ferromagnetic films as magnetic recording media and storing information in memory devices [38, 414, 443]. The magnetic films have a number of unique features that enhance the recording density of information storage and performance. Thin magnetic films have been used to develop various devices in the microwave range: filters, amplitude modulators, power limiters, and phase manipulators. Along with this, the study of the physical properties of ferromagnetic films is fundamental in nature, causing the development of both the physics of magnetic phenomena and the physics of surface phenomena.
