ABSTRACT
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC 2007) concluded with high confidence that the atmosphere is warming because of anthropogenic activities. For the water sector, which is strongly impacted by climate variability, climate change and the associated uncertainty is a major concern. Decision makers require a quantitative estimate of future projection because it has significant consequences for the hydrological cycle and for water resource management (Buytaert et al. 2009; Christensen et al. 2004; Kay et al. 2009; Wood et al. 2004).
