ABSTRACT

The nature and level of leader ship on a program designed and launched to transform the entire business or significant parts of the business are primary determinants of the program being successful by achieving the intended business goals. Given organizational matrices, work complexities, and corporate politics, the program management team personnel rely heavily on their leader ship traits to deftly guide issues and manage risks through multiple organizational levels and across functions. Leaders can model the behavioral changes needed to embrace the changes the program is driving.
