ABSTRACT
This section is not intended to be a comprehensive guide to radiopharmacy as there are plenty of specialist texts available. Although reference is made to thallium (201Tl), it is discussed mainly to illustrate the advantages of using either of the technetium (99mTc) agents in the routine clinical assessment of patients with known or suspected coronary artery disease.
