ABSTRACT
Targeted radiotherapy, alone or in combination with external radiation therapy, may become an important addition to our therapeutic armamentarium against osteosarcoma (OS). Potential applications of this approach are to combat lung and skeletal micro-metastases not eliminated by chemotherapy, and to eradicate remaining tumor cells of a primary tumor, not amenable to complete surgical removal.
