I. INTRODUCTION Urinary fistulas have been recognized in the literature for centuries as a distressing problem that results most commonly from birth trauma or urogynecological surgery. This chapter focuses on the etiology, diagnosis, and surgical management of the most common urinary fistulas: vesicovaginal, urethrovaginal, and ureterovaginal.
