ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we discuss the effect of boundary conditions in detail. In particular, it is shown that for the same polynomial order of inertial coefficient and the power in the mode shape, the analytical expression for the natural frequencies is insensitive to the boundary conditions. The method, as it were, screens the different beams with coinciding frequencies.
