ABSTRACT
This chapter extends some of the concepts presented in Chapter 10. A robust infrastructure has to be able to adapt quickly to disruptions. This chapter looks at approaches to wireless information routing and resource discovery. These ideas are complementary to the hierarchical index ideas presented in Chapter 10. Indexes, or individual nodes, can use these adaptive routing approaches for disseminating and searching for information. Their distributed nature makes them ideal for chaotic environments.
