ABSTRACT

Mango is an important tropical fruit largely cultivated in Southeast Asia for its delicious fruit. It is most popular in India. Ripe fruits are eaten fresh and used in various products, such as juice, squash, jams, and jellies, and products such as chutney, pickles, and curries are made from unripe fruits. Fruits are rich in vitamins A and C, and kernels contain high amounts of car­ bohydrates, calcium, and fat.
